The destination for the popular Thursday night Taco Ride is set to sell.  According to the Council Bluffs Nonpareil, the Mineola Steakhouse is in the final stages of sale.

According to Clint Howard, the current owner, he does not anticipate any changes for the many fans of the Steakhouse and the Thursday night ride.  During summer months, approximately 800 to 1,000 cyclist make the 10-mile trek from Council Bluffs to Mineola on the Wabash Trace on Thursdays.  Located just a couple blocks from the trail, the Steakhouse is also popular with cyclists on other days of the week.

Nestled in the small town of Mineola, the Steakhouse is also a destination for area residents and fans from the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area. A favorite on the menu is the Prime Rib.
