It looks like land is being cleared - or at least marked - for the extension of the northern end of the West Papio trail - the part that is just south of Maple. This is a new subdivision going in to the north and I have been hopeful that the trail extension would soon follow. Of course, I have no idea as to the time table.

I went riding on the West Papio after a 2 week vacation. The trail extension has now been paved. It does not go far (0.18 miles), so it is still well short of Maple. But at least it goes!
The bad news is that it now ends on an open field. No nice trees for shade.
