Walnut Grove Park is a small lake and neighborhood park located near S. 153rd Street off of Q Street. It has a serpentine trail with multiple pathways as well as a connection to another small lake and park space in a commercial development to the west. Amenities in the park are few but the mature landscape in the park and the adjacent lake make this trail a pleasant walk or jog any day of the week. For those looking for additional distance, it connects to both the Zorinsky Lake trail on the north side and the Q Street bike path on the south. The latter trail currently runs from Millard Avenue on the east to 156th Street on the west with a connection to the 144th Street trail. The widening of Q Street is currently underway (2006-2007) and will extend the path to 168th Street.
