The Riverfront Trail will start construction this year.  It starts about 1 mile north of NP Dodge Park and will run to the Washington county line.  This final segment will connect the Riverfront to the Boyer Chute trail and provide an almost continuous segment from downtown Omaha to the Boyer Chute recreation area.

The Turner Boulevard Trail is a new trail being constructed by the City of Omaha.  It begins at Turner Boulevard and Dodge Street, then runs south to Pacific Street where it turns eventually terminating at 36th Street.  It will not connect to the Field Club trail at the current time due to grade issues but there will be signs to direct trail users to it.

The East-West Connector will start construction late this year and will be finished in 2009.  It will connect the Field Club trail with the Keystone trail.  This is one of the first trails to run east-west and will eventually be part of the network that connects to the Missouri River.
