Somewhere along the line, the Keystone trail becomes the Bellevue Loop. The Loop trail weaves its way along the levy of the Papillion Creek south of Highway 370 and parallels Highway 73/75. The terrain slopes gently toward the south and is sparsely populated. The adjacent properties are mostly undeveloped agricultural parcels but it does pass by two golf courses and is dotted with several industrial tracts. Aside from that the scenery is rural in nature.
As the trail continues to the south along the creek, it makes a slow curve back toward the east to the confluence of the Papillion Creek and the Missouri River. The only landmark structure within miles of this stretch is the City of Omaha’s Papillion Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. From here the trail turns 90 degrees and heads 4 miles north to its terminus at Bellevue’s Hayworth Park.

Downsides:
- The scenery is great if you like the prairie
- No restrooms or drink stops until you get to the park
Upsides:
- Wide open, fast and flat
- Parking available at various locations
- Nice view of the creek for the entire ride.
- The Missouri River is a point of interest
- Haworth Park has a wide range of activities including camping, playground, softball, and a marina.
