As part of a roadway improvement project at 144^th and Industrial Road, the City of Omaha has added the final link for the 144^th Street Trail.  The design firm for the trail was HGM Associates, one of our site sponsors. 

Prior to the construction of this critical segment, trail users were forced onto the street at one of the busiest intersections in Omaha (ranked 12^th in the metro area according to the Metropolitan Area Planning Agency).  Access to the trail was not restricted as of this writing, however trail users should be cautious since construction is still ongoing.
